Horror in Silent Hill: Return to Hell There was a new – and sinister – trailer released this Tuesday (2). Check it out at the bottom of the page.

The new chapter will be a direct adaptation of Silent Hill 2, a game that recently received a remake developed by the Bloober Team studio. The cast features Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson in the main roles. The film also marks the return of classic names from the franchise: director and screenwriter Christophe Gans, responsible for the first Horror in Silent Hill (2006), and composer Akira Yamaoka, creator of the games’ original soundtrack.

What is it about

In the story, James receives a mysterious letter that takes him back to the enigmatic city of Silent Hill in search of his great love. There, he finds an unrecognizable place, taken over by evil forces and distortions of reality. As he plunges into darkness, the protagonist faces disturbing figures — some familiar, some unfamiliar — as he struggles to maintain his sanity and understand what is real.

In addition to Irvine and Anderson, the cast includes Evie Templeton, Pearse Egan, Eve Macklin, Alana Maria, Slavisa Ivanovic, Melissa Graham and Emily Carding.

With a dark atmosphere and visuals inspired by psychological horror classics, Horror in Silent Hill: Return to Hell promises to revive the essence of the franchise and offer a terrifying new experience for fans old and new.

Horror in Silent Hill: Return to Hell arrives in Brazilian cinemas on March 12, 2026.
