New Netflix film ‘On Vacation with You’ gets official trailer

Netflix has released the first official trailer for the film adaptation “On Vacation with You”, based on the best-selling novel by Emily Henry. The announcement took place this Tuesday (2/12), with new images of Emily Bader and Tom Blyth as the protagonists of the production that will debut on January 9, 2026 in the streaming platform’s global catalog.

“Poppy is free as the wind. Alex, all straight-laced and a lover of routine. Despite being so different, they have been best friends for 10 years. Even though they live in different cities, they maintain a tradition that never fails: spending their summer holidays together”, says the text that accompanies the teaser. “The balance of their friendship is threatened when the two finally face what everyone has long realized: what if, deep down, they are made for each other?”

Tom Blyth became known for his role in “The Hunger Games: A Song of Birds and Snakes”, while Emily Bader gained notoriety for her performance in “My Lady Jane”. Now, the actors are coordinated by Brett Haley, from “I’ll See You in My Dreams” (“I’ll See You in My Dreams”) and “Relearning to Love”, with a script developed by Yulin Kuang in partnership with Amos Vernon and Nunzio

The supporting cast includes Sarah Catherine Hook, Lucien Laviscount, Miles Heizer and Jameela Jamil. Tommy Do, Lukas Gage and Alice Lee also participate in the production, in addition to veterans Molly Shannon and Alan Ruck, who will bring Poppy’s parents to life in the story.

The production team includes Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner as main producers, in addition to Laura Quicksilver, Ted Gidlow and Emily Henry herself acting as executive producers.
