Natalie Dormer didn’t only make herself known with Game of Thrones, here are other of her best series and best films.

Natalie Dormernow aged 43, is a British actress who became known in particular with her emblematic role in Game of Thrones (GOT), where she plays Queen Margaery. Coming from a modest family, she was able to climb the ranks and become an actress known throughout the world, notably with notable roles. And, in fact, here is our little selection of his best appearances in films and series. Here we go!

1. Game of Thrones

Of course, Natalie Dormer starred in the series Game of Thronesa series of fantasy from the books of the same name. In this series, we follow House Stark, north of the fictional country of Westeros. 2. Hunger Games

In the Hunger Games saga, from the novels of the same name, we follow the story of Katnissa young woman who lives in a dystopian world separated into twelve districts (well thirteen), from richest to poorest, all controlled by fear by the Capitol, where the country’s elite live.

Every year, after the rebellion of District 13, which led to its destruction, the Chapters organizes a deadly game: the Hunger Games. Two people from each district are sent, after drawing lots, in an arena where participants will have to kill each other. There will only be one left. A battle royal in which Katniss will therefore be propelled by volunteering in place of her sister.

Natalie Dormer plays in the third and fourth films of the saga (The Revolt, parts 1 and 2). In these films, we follow the revolt of Panem, the country where the plot takes place. Katniss won the games and becomes a real symbol of this rebellion.

3. The Forest

The Forest is a film dated 2016 and which has established itself as a successful horror film. Natalie Dormer plays the lead role alongside Taylor Kinney or even Eoin Macken.

In this horror moviethe plot takes place in Japan, around the forêt forigariknown as the forest of suicides. One day, Sara (played by Natalie Dormer) receives a call from the Japanese police to inform her that her twin sister Jess (also played by the actress, she plays two roles in the film) died and that she would have entered the famous forest.

Sara therefore leaves for the Japan to find out what really happened. Obviously, things get out of hand and everything doesn’t go as planned. A journey towards the truth that turns into a real bloodbath.

4. In Darkness

Natalie Dormer fut co-writer and producer for this film, but also the main actress. With Ed Skrein (also seen in Game of Thrones) and Emily Ratajkowskithe actress plays the main role in In Darkness, that of Sofia.

In this film, we follow Sofia who is a blind pianist and who finds himself witness to the murder of his neighbor. But, it turns out that her neighbor was the daughter of an influential businessman accused of war crimes.

Sofia, despite herself, then finds herself involved in a case of murdersbut also in dark affairs between hitmen et Russian mafia.

5. Patient Zero

Patient Zero is a horror film released in 2018 in which we find Natalie Dormer in the lead role. We also have Matt Smith, Stanley Tuccibut also John Bradley (Sam dans Game of Thrones).

In this film, she plays the doctor Gina Rosedoctor who will face a new form of rage which is ravaging the world, of animal origin but which spreads to humans. The actress also stars in this film with Mel Gibson, Sean Penn and Eddie Marsan. Natalie Dormer plays one of the main roles, that of Eliza Merrett. The film is about the famous lexicographer James Murray and the chirurgien William Chester Minor.

A biographical film which therefore talks about the military doctor William Chester Minor who suffers from schizophrenia post-traumatic after what he saw during the Civil War. Interned in the psychiatric hospital, he will start corresponding with James Murray, lexicographe and philologist.
