Suspense style ‘The Substance’ with Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson has its premiere POSTPONED in Brazil – CinePOP

THE Paris Films postponed the premiere of ‘Dark Secret‘ (Shell), psychological thriller starring Elisabeth Moss (‘The Invisible Man’) and Kate Hudson (‘The Master Key’).

Initially scheduled for the January 22, 2026the film now hits theaters on March 12th.

Max Minghella (‘Espírito Jovem’) is responsible for the direction.

The story is set in the near future, when humanity’s cultural obsession with youth and beauty has been taken to new extremes.

In the plot…

“Actress Samantha (Moss) receives the opportunity to take a free trial at Shell, a pioneering health and beauty company that promises to keep its customers looking young forever. Samantha’s life and career are transformed by the treatment, and she develops a growing friendship with the company’s CEO, the ultra-glamorous Zoe Shannon (Hudson). When Shell patients begin disappearing under mysterious circumstances, including popular influencer Chloe Benson (Gerber), Samantha begins to fear for her life.”

Jack Stanley (‘Lou’) signs the production script.

The cast also has Kaia Gerber, Arian Moayed, This Haim and Elizabeth Berkley.
