Superman 2 will have Wonder Woman and references to Batman, says reporter

You rumors that James Gunn is climbing the Wonder Woman of the DCU continue to gain strength. According to reporter Jeff Sneider, who has a history of scoops in the industry, heroin will already appear in Superman: Man of Tomorrow (free translation from Man of Tomorrow), continuation of Superman.

Sneider, on The Hot Mic podcast, insists that Gunn, who denied that an announcement for the actress would come in January, is in the process of casting the role, not for the character’s in-development solo film, but rather for an appearance in Man of Tomorrow.

He doesn’t stop there. Sneider later states that there are references to Batman in the film, but the Dark Knight will not appear physically in the film, which opens in July 2027.
