The film Life in a Year, available on Prime Video, follows the trajectory of Daryn, a teenager focused on a promising academic future, who sees his plans change radically when he meets Isabelle.
Played by Cara Delevingne, the young woman reveals that she is facing a serious illness, information that completely transforms the way the two view time and their own existence.
Faced with this reality, Daryn decides to dedicate an entire year to providing her with intense experiences and memorable memories, in an attempt to condense everything a life could offer into a few months. The film shows the couple’s adaptation to a fast-paced routine, full of symbolic gestures, personal discoveries and emotional challenges.
Directed by Mitja Okorn, the production combines elements of drama and romance when dealing with themes such as youth, finitude and choices, presenting a narrative centered on the urgency of living each moment.
