Avengers: Doctor Doom | Robert Downey Jr. thanks the public

The actor Robert Downey Jr. published this Friday (16), a video thanking the more than 1 billion views in the previews of Avengers: Doctor Doom, that have been released over the last few weeks.

On social media, success was also exponential. The four teasers combined currently lead the ranking of views of launches trailers of Marvel on Instagram (505 million) and TikTok (103 million). Furthermore, each of them had a volume of repercussions 188% greater than the average of the studio’s other titles.

The video says “Thank you for over 1 billion views”, and Downey added a green heart, the color of Victor Von Doom’s look. Furthermore, the now classic countdown clock also appears in the video.

All about Avengers: Doctor Doom

The villain of the story of the fifth Avengers film will be Doctor Doom Robert Downey Jr., actor who played the legendary Iron Man in the MCU’s Infinity Saga, and now takes on the role of antagonist. Avengers: Doctor Doom (Avengers: Doomsday in the original) will be directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo (Completed), and screenplay by Michael Waldron (Loki) e Stephen McFreely (Completed).

Marvel has already confirmed the main cast names for the new film, in one of the biggest meetings of MCU stars ever held. From the previous films of Avengers, return: Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Winston Duke as M’Baku and Letitia Wright.

Of characters introduced post-Avengers: Endgame – in phases 4 and 5 of the MCU – we have Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, the entire new Fantastic Four (Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing) and almost the entire cast of Thunderbolts* (Florence Pugh as Yelena, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, David Harbor as Red Guardian, Hanah John-Kamen as Ghost and Lewis Pullman as Bob the Sentinel). Tenoch Huerta also returns as Namor.

In a live cast announcement, there was also the big surprise of the film so far: the return of the classic X-Men from the old Fox films, including Patrick Stewart as Professor Deadpool & WolverineChanning Tatum como Gambit.
