First trailer for Shelter, Jason Statham’s new film

The first trailer for Shelter, Jason Statham’s new film, has arrived and promises to bring what he does best: intense action and tension from start to finish. The story follows a man who chose to live isolated on a remote island. His peace is interrupted when during a storm he rescues a young woman who ends up causing problems that force him to abandon his refuge.

In addition to Statham, the cast includes Bodhi Rae Breathnach as the young woman he protects, and other names such as Naomi Ackie and Bill Nighy. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, known for his very realistic action style, and the script is by Ward Parry.

The film’s release is scheduled for January 30, 2026 and, although there is still no official date for Portugal, it is likely to arrive at the same time.
