‘Zootopia 2’ knocks ‘Wicked 2’ off the top of the Brazilian box office
Long-awaited sequel Zootopia: This City is the Beast (2016), Oscar-winning animation, Zootopia 2 premiered in Brazilian cinemas, taking first place from Wicked: Parte 2which held the top spot at the box office since its debut on November 20.
In its first weekend on display (between November 27th and 30th), Disney’s production grossed an impressive R$18.5 million, placing itself in first place. Master’s Trick – The 3rd Act came soon after, with a box office gross of R$4 million, and Wicked: Parte 2 won third place with R$2.79 million. Check out the ranking below (via Comscore):

What is the story of Zootopia 2?
Zootopia 2 follows the new phase of detectives Judy Hopps e Nick Wildewho now officially work as partners in the police force. In the new feature, the duo is placed on the trail of a mysterious reptile, which arrives in the city and turns the metropolis upside down.
Together, they must infiltrate new biomes and unravel a complex conspiracy, testing the loyalty and friendship they built in the first film. Watch the new trailer below:
