You’ve never seen Wonder Woman like this: Zack Snyder shares an incredibly cool photo

Last week, Gal Gadot revealed new images from her time as Wonder Woman in the concluded DC Extended Universe. Filmmaker Zack Snyder, who cast her original, now adds something to this.

Snyder introduced the character (and therefore Gadot) in the film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justicein which Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) has a striking encounter with her alter ego, Diana Prince. This causes him to start investigating her.

Background
Bruce soon discovers that Diana is much more than she pretends. In a famous scene, he discovers a photo of her with a group of soldiers during World War I, which of course reveals that she must be immortal.

Initially, however, the photo was of a completely different conflict. An earlier version of Diana’s backstory would place her in the Crimean War (1853-1856). Snyder has now shared the photo of this on Instagram.

Now look at the photo below. In the meantime, the DCEU has been scrapped and replaced by the DC Universe. Fans are eagerly anticipating who will play Wonder Woman in the new franchise.
